Integrated Academic Portal System Development (SIMAK)

This project focuses on modernizing the UHAMKA Academic Portal (SIMAK) to enhance access performance for students and lecturers. We designed a new microservices architecture to handle traffic surges during online KRS enrollment and integrated it directly with partner banking payment systems.

With responsive UI/UX and intuitive navigation, students can now complete all academic administration, from course enrollment to graduation registration online in one integrated application.

Project Challenges & Solutions

The biggest challenge in this project was migrating a large-scale historical database without disrupting active academic operations. BPTI UHAMKA successfully formulated a zero-downtime migration procedure using real-time database replication and gradual data synchronization strategies.
